WRECKHOUSE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL

Wreckhouse Jazz & Blues presents one of the fastest growing cultural events in Newfoundland and Labrador, the Wreckhouse International Jazz & Blues Festival, which sees Jazz, Blues and World music exposed to and integrated into our already unique, vibrant and nationally recognized musical community. 

Over the course of the last 7 years the Wreckhouse Jazz & Blues Festival has entertained a captive audience of 15,000 on 12 stages throughout the historic downtown area.

The Festival is promoted nationally and internationally through membership within Jazz Festivals Canada, Destination St. John’s, and the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Tourism, Culture & Recreation.

Aside from the St. John’s Jazz Festival’s 5 day, multi-venue event we offer:

• Groovin' and Improvin' improvisation educational sessions for youth.
• Educational workshops.
• Year-round concert programming including imported and local acts.
• Event planning services for our partners
• Office parties, private functions, business networking function entertainment
• Night Club Series
• Year-round fundraising initiatives
